Winter is around the corner....
The leaves are just about at peak here at The Glen and everything is beautiful. We have been alternating between clear blue sky and rainy cool fall days. Either way, it is a wonderful time to visit the Adirondack Mountains and enjoy fall festivals, farmers markets and (of course) hiking trails. Not all trails in the area are challenging mountain hikes; we have plenty of walking trails for a more leaisurely stroll through the woods.
It is also time to think about your winter plans, we have plenty of cross country and snowshoe trails and Gore Mountain Ski Area is just up the road. We rent out The Glen Lodge to groups all winter. We have 8 bedrooms (sleeps 16) and 9 bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, plenty of seating for 16 in our dinning room and a great room with a large stone fireplace.
